Professor Elisabetta Cherchi is the head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Newcastle University, one of the top scholars in transportation engineering and transportation economics. She has published more than 60 papers in transportmetrics A: Transport Science, transportation research part a, B, C, e, Journal of public economics, Journal of transport economics and policy, Journal of urban economics and other journals. She is now a reviewer of more than 20 journals, such as transportation; transportation research, part A, part B, part D, part F; transportation science; network and spatial economics; transportmetrics; transport policy, etc. In addition, Professor Elisabetta Cherchi is the co-editor of "Transportation Research: part A" since January 2019. She is currently a member of the editorial board of "Transportation Research: Part B" and chief editor of transportation, and chairman of the International Association for Traffic Behavior Research (IATBR).
