Adriaan R. Soetevent is a professor of microeconomics at the University of Groningen and a leading figure in the field of market and sustainable development research. His research focuses on the empirical and field experiments of behavioral economics, prosaically behavior and industrial economics. He has published several influential articles in major economic journals such as American Economic Review, AEJ: Economic Policy, Rand Journal of Economics and the Journal of Public Economics.
