Professor Erik Verhoef is a full-time and lifelong professor at the Free University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, ranks in the top 4% of the global economic rankings of REPEC. He is mainly engaged in the research of regional economy, traffic economy, traffic pricing, quantitative modeling of transport value, travel behavior and other related aspects, and presided over a number of international projects. He has published 170 related papers, 52 chapters and 52 chapters in the journals and magazines such as transport America a: Transport Science, transportation research part A, B, C, E, Journal of public economics, Journal of transport economics and policy, Journal of urban economy, etc.
