The scen of opening ceremony

On the morning of September 18, 2020, hosted by Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of China Association of Industrial Economics and School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, the 2020 academic conference of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of China Industrial Economics Association organized by SDIC Investment Promotion Management Co., Ltd.. was held in the Conference Center of SDIC Financial Building. The theme of this conference was "New Infrastructure and Distributed Transportation in double Cycle". 

FU Zhihuan, Former Minister of Ministry of Railways, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of the Finance and Economic Committee of the 10th NPC, WANG Qingyun, Former Party Member of the National Development and Reform Commission and Former Discipline Inspection Chief of the General Administration of Sport of China, SHI Dan, Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and President of the China Association of Industrial Economics, WANG Jiaqiong, Vice secretary of Party Committee and President of Beijing Jiaotong University, BAI Guoguang, General Manager of SDIC Investment Promotion Management Co., Ltd., and more than 50 experts, scholars, teachers and students from Sinotrans, the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Science and Investment Management Co., LTD., CCCC Technology Co., LTD., Beijing Jiaotong University and other enterprises and institutions attended the live meeting. The meeting adopted the combination of offline and online methods. The opening ceremony was presided over by LIN Xiaoyan, professor of Beijing Jiaotong University and Vice Chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of China Association of Industrial Economics.

He introduced the important role played by SCIC in deepening the reform of investment and financing system, putting focus on improving the competitiveness of industrial chain and supply chain, key core technologies, making breakthroughs to achieve industrialization, and putting focus on cultivating the world’s advanced manufacturing industrial clusters.

WANG Jiaqiong, President of Beijing Jiaotong University delivered a speech. He pointed out that in the current complicated social and economic system, academic activities and exchanges are characterized by deep integration of theoretical research, applied research and policy research, deep integration of government, industry, university, research and application, and deep integration of different disciplines and fields.

SHI Dan, Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a speech. She put forward that there is great potential for the transportation and infrastructure industry to build a new pattern of development in which both international and domestic cycles promote with each other. Why the country proposes to strengthen infrastructure construction and how to integrate the new and traditional infrastructure construction are important issues worth our deeply thinking.

The keynote report was chaired by LIN Xiaoyan, Pofessor of Beijing Jiaotong University and HUANG Haibo, Managing Director of China Investment Management Co. LTD. LV Tie, Researcher from Institute of Industrial Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, made the report "How To Form Positive Design Ability: Based on The Observation of China's High-speed Railway Equipment Industry". RONG Chaohe, Professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, National teaching masters, delivered the keynote report entitled "Distributed Transportation". FU Zhihuan, Former Minister of Ministry of Railways, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, WANG Qingyun, Former Member of the CPC Leading Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Former Head of the Discipline inspection Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, and XIAO Xing, Former General Manager of Operation Management Department of Sinotrans Long Shipping Group, made comments respectively.
