III. Payment and Job Description

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

* Below 35 years old

* Obtained Ph.D. degree from world-class universities

* Able to work full time

* Demonstration of teaching and research excellence

a.  Remuneration Package

* Annual salary: RMB 350,000- 500,000 (pre-tax);

* Per annum settlement allowance: RMB 42,000 (pre-tax);

* One-off research funding support: RMB 50,000 (pre-tax);

* One-off rental allowance: RMB 30,000 (pre-tax);

b. Performance Requirements:

Teaching：

Undertake 96 teaching hours in a specialized discipline per annum

Research:

Carry out academic research duties as required

Academic Community Services:

The applicant is expected to work closely with the university and the school to provide a range of services in teaching and research, developing curriculum, mentoring young scholars, and fostering collaboration between SEM and the university from which she/he graduated.
