At 2:00 p.m. on December 5, the routine workshop was convened by p13th Five-year Planq Research Group of School of Economics and Management at RM. SD601. Dean Zhang gave full confirmation to the previous stage work progress of the Research Group and put forward the work targets for the recent period, particularly requiring that the well-grounded and well-structured survey and research outlines would be submitted at the next routine meeting with the identified survey objects and the well-designed questionnaires for the fully discussion at the next routine meeting. After making the work report to Dean Zhang, the members of the Research Group had the workshop at SD729 meeting room to focus on the discussion of the work plan and arrangement for the next week of the Research Group.
"13th Five-year Planq Period (2016-2020) is a crucial period of our schoolos pilot reform as well as a key period for the school to have a higher platform and gain a higher level for development. pn13th Five-yearoTeaching & Research Development Planof School of Economics and Managementq is the strategic and programmatic document guiding the development of the school in the coming five years as well as the general policy, general guideline and general support for the development of the school.
Thisp13th Five-year Planq must be a forward-looking, pragmatic, guiding and operational strategic plan! Under the circumstances of the heavier tasks, bigger difficulties and pressing time, the school is meticulous in screening out the high-caliber talents willing to give the Selfless service to the school to form the Planning Research Group which is composed of members, such as, Chen Peihong, Duan Jianguo, Hua Guowei, Jing Zhucui, Qin Qiuli and Wang Chao with Prof. Zhang Wensong as the group leader. The Research Group has the routine meeting each week and its members will report the work progress to Dean Zhang Qiusheng every two weeks.
Dean Zhang pays special attention to this work and has made a point of convening different meetings for the special arrangement of the relevant work in the hope that all member of the group can be fully aware of new situations and new tasks confronting our school in seeking further development by closely combining the national education planning guidelines and the requirements for the overall deployment of the comprehensive reform in the education sector to deeply understand and keep pace with the new opportunities and new research topics confronting our schoolos development so as to scientifically interpret the development positioning of the school during the p13th Five-year Planq period, development goals and key tasks by combining the plans of the state, ministries and commissions, industries and regions with the development experience of the schools(colleges) of economics and management of the domestic and overseas benchmark universities based on the actual practice in China to center on the featured disciplines and the industrial advantages and aim at the international frontier, and also make the relevant feasible policies and arrangements for the organizational adjustment, policy follow-up, rational resources allocation and the building of the mechanisms, etc., to promote the better and faster strategically-oriented development of the school.
