2014 pBillow Cupq Economic Game for Best Benefit Case Analysis Challenge Competition dropped the curtain on December 23. This competition was sponsored by BJTU School of Economics and Management, organized by Case Study Center, Social Service and Social Service and Alumni Office, financially supported by Beijing Billow Technology Co., Ltd. andBeijing Tonlier Energy-saving System LLC. The entire competition lasted 2 months with 27 teams having signed up for the competition. 24 effective case analysis reports were submitted by undergraduates and postgraduates from BJTU. 8 teams was fortunate enough in being identified for the finals. 

The finals were held at 821 Report Hall in East Siyuan Building on the morning of December 23. Zhang Qiusheng, Dean of School of Economics and Management, and Wang Hui, deputy general manager of Beijing Tonlier Energy-saving System LLC., gave their respective speeches. 

Dean Zhang Qiusheng expressed his warm welcome to the judges, VIP guests and faculty advisers and contestants, pointing out that the case analysis competition was a good model highly integrating the theory and practice and the preview and rehearsal of practice as it provides an all-dimensional or stereoscopic display stage; he thanked the vigorous support given by the alumni enterprise- Beijing Billow Technology Co., Ltd. 

Deputy General Manager Wang Hui gave an account of all circumstances for the corporate online and offline operations in the Internet era in the humorous language in his speech in the hope that this competition could facilitate the students to have a deeper understanding and awareness of the enterprise. Also he sincerely welcomed the teachers and students to conduct their survey and practical training in the company. 
 
Excellent cases sparks a heated debate
In the 3-hour-long competition, members of 8 teams in the finals presented a wonderful and colorful case analysis veritable feast. The contestants were involved with the heated verbal exchange or debate and their supporters were also involved with the warm interactive communication and the in-depth questions raised by the judging panel with the outbursts of applause from the judges and audiences, so the judges and contestants shared the fullest and warmest interactive communication.
 
Wonderful comments with ward concerns and care
After the wonderful PK session, Zhang Wenbin, chairman of the Judging Panel, first of all, made a speech, thinking that the competition fully demonstrated the analytical thinking, management method and the capacity in applying the relevant theories, and all teams had the open ideas and could put forward some novel or fresh ideas and also could skillfully apply the discipline theories and analysis methods, so they were quite sensitive about the new management issues, by there was still something to be desired in this respect, say, the pertinence, operability and applicability, etc., of the case solutions, etc. At last, he hoped that the students could have broader vision, creative thinking and the open mentality. Then other judges also gave the excellent comments from different angles. 
 
Awards were announced, verifying the sweat and laughter
Through the fiercer competition, High Five Team ultimately won the champion. Five Plus Team and Qunfangxianzhu Team shared the title of runner-up or the second place and Dengfenglai Team and Sirenxing Team were third place winners, followed by the Excellence Award teams, respectively Galaxy Guardians Team and BJTU Partners Team. Plus, Luo Wenchao and Hu Songjie won the award of the most valuable members and Teacher Gou Juan won the title of the best faculty adviser.
 
Associate Dean Cui Yongmei finally delivered the closing address and she thanked the greatest efforts made by all participants in the competition, pointing out that the case represented the best integration of the management discipline practice and the theory, so the case analysis competition was also the effective supplement to the modern talent cultivation models; the case analysis competition would be held in the innovative manner to form the interactive communication with the supporting enterprises in the great expectation of the active participation by the students for better performances in the competition.
