At 14:00-16:00 on December 30, 2014, an academic lecture was held by at SD611 of Business Administration College. Ye Kangtao, associate professor, Ph. D. supervisor, vice director of Accounting Department of School of Business, Renmin University of China, came over to our school to deliver an academic report entitled pDoes the market performances of the Chinese listed companies deviate from the Macro-economic operation?q, which was presided over by Prof. Ma Zhong, director of Accounting Department of Business Administration College.
First of all, Mr. Ye Kangtao shared with us his latest Working Papers, introducing his research on how to interpret pDeviation Anomaliesq between the accounting performances and the macroeconomic growth. He also conducted the in-depth analysis of Chinaos actual economical operation but found that the previous researches fail to effectively interpret pDeviation Anomaliesq mainly in that accounting performance indicators were not properly selected and identified, so he advanced that the accounting added values could be used as the accounting indicator to forecast the macroeconomic growth. Later, Mr. Ye shared with us his understanding of his paper contribution to the Chinese and English top-notch journals and how the reviewers evaluate the quality of the papers. In the end, he gave us the constructive proposals for our research.
