On the afternoon of January 5, 2015, Mr. Wang Haidong, Adjunct Professor of our school, former senior economist of Energy R&D Department of CME Group Inc. and the current securities and futures derivatives researcher of CSRC, gave a lecture entitled pMulti-level and Internationalization of Commodities Marketq. Mr. Wang Haidong was responsible for the R&D and maintenance of the CME electricity futures market and the analysis of the competitiveness of the international energy futures market and the training activities of the energy R&D department to cater to the Chinese market, once launched the first global capacity price futures, thus having accumulated the extremely abundant experience in the future trading practice and research. 
 
Mr. Wang Haidong mainly introduced the multi-level nature of commodities market in respect of the composition of the commodities market, the central counterparty transaction models, the importance of the OTC market and the approximate swap and also conducted the analysis of the various approaches for the participation of the Chinese stock exchanges into the world. Mr. Wang Haidong gave the deeper analysis of the profound reform of Chinaos financial market, pointing out that the current reform has entered into the deep water, calling for the more acute and forward-looking insight and strength. After the lecture, Mr. Wang Haidong had he interactive communication and exchange with the teachers and students present at the lecture. 

This lecture has attracted 160-odd teachers, undergraduates and postgraduates of our school, all of whom reached the consensus that the wonderful lecture was presented by Mr. Wang Haidong with the higher ideological perspective and the profound vision, opening up the brand-new insight into the fuller understanding of the Chinese derivative product market.
