On May 4 afternoon, 2015, President Zhang Qiusheng and Party Secretary Zhang Mingyu lead administrative and Party leaders of our school to School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology for investigation of development plan and international certification. President and Prof. Wei Yiming, Party Secretary Li Jinlin and other administrative and Party leaders of School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology gave a warm welcome to our schoolos visit.
 

First, President Wei Yiming made an introduction to developing history, advantages and characteristics of School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology. Then, visitors had a more systematic and deep ideas about the school by seeing propaganda video. Secretary Li Jinlin recalled the historical origin of cooperation between two schools and their friendly relationship. He also introduced the international certification of the school in recent years. School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology has been paying great attention to international certification in recent years and has received two international certificates, AMBA in 2011 and EQUIS in 2015. The process of strict review of certification experts has greatly promoted the construction of the school. In March 2015, under common efforts of whole school staffs and the attention and support of university leaders, the school got through international certification of EQUIS successfully.
 

President Zhang Qiusheng communicated with President Wei Yiming in many aspects such as support of university policy, teaching in several university regions, classified administration of teachers, evaluation of professional ranks, construction of disciplinary teams and assessment of research centers, combined with the 13th Five Year Plan and EQUIS certification related work. Secretary Zhang Mingyu consulted some issues such as introduction of special and abroad teachers, management of teacherso performance and salary, rewarding mechanism of scientific research. Vice Presidents Qiu Fang, Dong Peiwu, Wang Zhaohua, Meng Fanchen and Yan Zhijun made introductions to the jobs they were in charge of and relative specific measures respectively.
 

Visitors of our school also visited relative building facilities of School of Management and Economics and Research Center of Energy and Environment Policy of Beijing Institute of Technology. Vice President Cui Yongmei, Vice President Zhang Li, Vice President Shi Xianliang, Deputy Party Secretary Wen Yingchun, Director Wang Ying, Assistant President Gou Juanqiong and Cao Weibing raised some questions and made exchanges.
