From May 8 to 9, 2015, 2015 Academic Annual Meeting of Sub-Society of Architectural Economics of Architectural Society of China and the 10th Summit Forum of Chinese Architectural Economics was held in Beijing. Nearly 300 experts and scholars from 200 universities, enterprises and research groups attended the meeting. The meeting theme was pDevelopment of Scientific Research of Architectural Economics and Management: New Normal, New Thinking and New Planq. In the meeting, Prof. Liu Yuming from Department of Engineering Management of our school was elected as standing member of the 7th Sub-Society of Architectural Economics and gave a special speech of research thoughts and content publication of Report of Development of Scientific Research of Architectural Economics and Management as invited.
Based on the worldos largest Chinese journal full paper database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the special speech introduced statistics analysis of publicly issued academic papers in the field of architectural economics and management during the report period of 2013-2014. It gave a comprehensive summary on research achievements in the field of architectural economics and management in recent two years, support from foundations especially national foundation, supporting direction and research focus of national foundation, research focus and direction of high influence achievements, papers published by professional academic journals, informationization of architecture, etc. The speech provided good consulting, reference and guidance for experts and scholars of architectural economics and management to fully understand achievements distribution, research focus and direction of the field, to anticipate future developing trend of the research field, and to determine the future research topics.
It was the first time in China to analyze research and academic development and trend of a discipline in a special report based on accessibility and statistics of CNKI big data. As a new trial and exploration, it will undoubtedly attracted active attention of participating experts and scholars.
