In July 2014, National Steering Committee of Accounting Masteros Degree Education initiated experiment of Accreditation for Accounting Professional Education Quality (hereinafter referred as AAPEQ). Through assessment online and field investigation and approved by Plenary Meeting of National Steering Committee of Accounting Masteros Degree Education, our university became the 6 Level A units for a 5-year term of validity.
Our university was the only one science and engineering university among the first Level A units in AAPEQ. Our success in AAPEQ was resulted in abundant internal and external advantage resources, disciplinary characteristics, training directions design based on industrial needs, set up of industrial lessons with characteristics and many channels of promoting studentso recognition of practice.
AAPEQ is an education quality accreditation system established together by National Steering Committee of Accounting Masteros Degree Education and relative accounting organizations and training units, under instructions of educational administrative departments and accounting administrative departments and based on the facts of professional degree education development. AAPEQ has three levels of A, B and C, with Level A as the highest level. AAPEQ system fully considers social development needs for high-level and integrated accounting talents, aims at comprehensively assessing current status and future prospect of accounting professional degree education of relative training units and determining basic standards for effective accounting professional degree education.
