On July 8, 2015, Inauguration Ceremony of 2015 Postgraduate Alumni Association was grandly held in Room 611 of East Siyuan Building in School of Economics and Management.
Cui Yongmei expressed her heartfelt blessing to 2015 postgraduates attending the ceremony in the hope that the establishment of the association could provide everyone with a platform for mutual growth and practical development to achieve the dissemination and communication of the spirit of BJTU and share the regular communication with Postgraduate Alumni. At last, she said that it was necessary to strengthen the force of Alumni Consulting Committee to encourage Alumni to participate in the development and construction of the school to forge ahead hand in hand with concerted efforts.
Tan Jie pointed out that graduation represented a node on the road of seeking academic progress in BJTU and the establishment of the postgraduate association represented a new starting point, so she hoped that the establishment of the association could promote the communication and exchange among alumni to achieve the timely sharing of the information and the mutual growth of alumni. At last she expressed the best wishes to the graduates in their future pursuit of the academic achievements.
Student representatives, Geng Guanyu and Liu Zhengru, read the articles of association of 2015 Postgraduate Alumni Association, the Recommended name list of 2015 Postgraduate Alumni Association, which was affirmatively and unanimously voted. Later, Cui Yongmei, Tan Jie, Song Guangsen honorably presented the letter of appointment to the honorary chairman, Chairman, deputy chairmen and members.
Feng Yao warmly welcomed all graduates to join in the alumni family and also introduced the alumni work of School of Economics and Management in respect of palumni information platformq, "alumni Special Activities" and palumni Donation Cultureq, etc., and also called on the graduates to join in the alumni organization and actively took part in the alumni activities in the hope that we could pool the efforts of everyone to open up a new situation where the school serves the alumni who gratefully reciprocate the school.
Gathering is a ball of fire while dispersing is a sky full of stars. Members of the association expressed their reluctance from the campus life in BJTU and gratitude toward the teachers for their assiduous cultivation and undertook that they would not live up to the trust of the school, actively bring into full play their own energy and make greater contribution to the school. Soon after that, they proposed to strengthen the alumni promotion and hold more theme alumni activities and build the complete vertical and horizontal alumni communication system, improve the daily operation model of the association and strengthen the development and construction of the local alumni associations, etc. by combining with their own life experience.
After the ceremony, Mr. Song Guangsen made a wonderful summary speech, expressing that the establishment of the association built a bridge and platform for the communication and exchange between the school and alumni as an integral part of the school alumni organizations in the hope that the members of the association could bravely assume responsibility and render the service work to more and more alumni and happily shared pToday I am so proud of BJTU and Tomorrow BJTU will take great pride in meq with the alumini present at the ceremony.
