The Visit Exchange Activity of Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Rounded Off

In May to June 2016, the delegation from Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) was kindly invited for a visit in our school. The delegation was led by Prof. Tu Qiang, vice dean of Business School of RIT, accompanied by Prof. Yu Yang, Prof. Wang Ye and Prof. Yang Rong. The visit of delegation was warmly welcomed by Zhang Li, vice dean of our school and Lv Xiyan, director of International Center. Both sides reviewed the friendship between both schools, and compared notes over the issues of common concern, and also reviewed the basic conditions about the exchange study of exchange teams from our school to RIT in recent years. The RIT highly praised the great contribution made by our school to the exchange activities.

 

During the visiting period, the delegation conducted the in-depth exchange with the leaders of our school and the relevant discipline teachers, having conducted the discussion and research of the cooperative development between both schools. In the meanwhile, Prof. Yang Rong, Prof. Yu Yang and Prof. Wang Ye presented the special lectures related to such fields as the finance, economy, financial affairs, information system management, etc. Prof. Tu Qiang gave a special report about the 2+2 Exchange Program. 

 

During the session of the 2+2 Exchange Program held on June 17, Jiang Ruiqi, a student majoring in Accounting in Grade 2011 from our school involved with our schools 2+2 Exchange Program in RIT, shared her experience with teachers and students present at the session. She remarked that the exchange experience in Business School of RIT during undergraduate years did leave her the lasting impression. She obtained the proud achievements in Business School of RIT and greatly expects that more schoolfellows could have a good opportunity to come to Business School of RIT for studies.

 

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) was initially founded in 1829, located in Rochester, New York as the second oldest private polytechnic university. This business school offers 10-odd specialties, say, Accounting, Finance and Information Management, etc. Currently, our school has signed cooperation agreement with RIT, and the students of our school will be selected and dispatched for the visiting study annually.
