On November 4, 2025, the School of Economics and Management at Beijing Jiaotong university hosted the 10th meeting of the International Advisory Committee (IAC), focusing on the theme "New Era, New Partners: An Internationally Compatible Sytem for Economics and Management Education" Vice President Ai Bo and President of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) Eric Cornuel attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

On behalf of the university, Ai Bo extended a warm welcome to the attending committee members and provided an overview of the university's development history, academic strengths, and achievements in internationalization. He emphasized that learning from world-class business education experience is crucial for elevating the internationalization level of its education, and expressed his hope that the experts would offer valuable insights and suggestions to support the School of Economics and Management in achieving sustainable development.

Eric Cornuel, President of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), fully recognized the remarkable achievements of the School of Economics and Management in digital transformation, international development, and the integration of academia with practice in his speech. He further underscored the significance of international collaboration among business schools and offered valuable insights on constructing a new globally interconnected management education system, as well as establishing new partnerships supported by an international quality management framework.

Guo Ming, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, delivered a report on the school's history, current development status, talent cultivation, scientific research, international cooperation, practical connections, and future development.

Committee members in attendance highly commended the School of Economics and Management for its accomplishments in international education and industry-university collaboration in recent years. They centered around the theme "New Era, New Partners: An Internationally Compatible Sytem for Economics and Management Education" and offered valuable advice and potential collaboration proposals for the school in areas such as international project development and collaboration, co-founding cooperation centers, cross-cultural communication, international research collaboration, and social responsibility initiatives.
During the panel discussion session, experts engaged in lively discussions and in-depth exchanges on topics such as "Establishment and Cooperation of the China-Arab States Center", "Reinventing Executive Training to Empower Enterprises to Go Global", and "Virtual Simulation Experiments and Business Education".
