The conference invited distinguished scholars from related fields such as management science, logistics management, and logistics informatization to deliver keynote speeches. Professor LI Xuewei, Honorary Director of the ICIR Center, presented a report titled "A Method for Generating Linkage Memory Model Based on Big Data Linkage Space", which proposed a learning, generation, and output method applicable to robots with primary human-like consciousness. The linkage memory model developed in this study has demonstrated preliminary application effectiveness in risk early warning and emergency response experiments in the transportation field.
Professor Yannis A. Phillis from the Technical University of Crete, Greece, delivered a report entitled "On an Aggregation Theory for Indicators Expressing Behaviors of Complex Systems with an Application to Sustainability". He introduced a mathematical model for indicator aggregation in complex systems, employing the "shifted geometric mean" method to identify key indicators with the greatest potential for improvement, thereby providing scientific basis for policy formulation and performance enhancement.
Professor Jinan Fiaidhi from Lakehead University, Canada, presented on "The Role of Thick Data Analytics in Predictive and Precision Medicine", discussing the importance of "thick data analytics" in clinical small-sample data analysis. He emphasized the need to comprehensively consider patients' socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyle characteristics to improve the accuracy of disease risk prediction.
Professor Kecheng Liu from the University of Reading, UK, addressed the topic of "Human-AI Collaboration - Semiotics and Norms for Personalised and Trustworthy AI", analyzing the interaction mechanisms between artificial intelligence and big data in the physical world. He proposed the concept of a global linkage space and demonstrated its application through case studies of fully self-driving (FSD) vehicles.
IEEE Fellow Professor CHEN Jian from Tsinghua University presented a report titled "The Implications of Incentives and Convenience of Reusable Packaging", analyzing how price incentives and convenience affect the benefits of choosing reusable packaging, thereby providing operational guidance for the catering industry to promote related models.
Professor Martin Dresner from the University of Maryland, USA, delivered a speech on "Scanning While Shopping: Assessing the Impact of Mobile Consumer Scanning Technology on Retail Performance". The study analyzed the impact of mobile scanning technology on retail performance, finding that while it reduces customer dwell time and increases visit frequency, it decreases single-transaction expenditure, revealing theoretical and managerial implications.
Professor Muhammet Deveci from the National Defense University of Istanbul, Turkey, presented on "Fuzzy Sets on Artificial Intelligence", exploring the role of fuzzy sets in artificial intelligence and their broad applications.
