The achievements of the School of Economics and Management have won the AACSB Innovations That Inspire Award
In April 2025, the 2025 International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) was successfully held at the Vienna Center in Austria. The V-Bridge Program for industry-education integration created by Professor Gou Juanqiong's team from the School of Economics and Management based on the "Virtual Simulation Platform for Human-AI Collaboration" has stood out among the participating projects of global AACSB-accredited business schools. V-Bridge Program won the 10th AACSB Innovations That Inspire Awards in 2025 and entered the Research/Teaching Innovation Library of the AACSB Business School. Meanwhile, among the 26 globally award-winning projects, the V-Bridge Program was meticulously chosen by AACSB as one of the five projects to be presented on-site at the ICAM Annual meeting.
The V-Bridge virtual simulation project of our college aims to co-create future business education. Through the collaboration of humans and AI, it facilitates real cooperation between students and enterprises, promoting the optimization of business strategies, and digital transformation. AACSB announced the winners of the Innovations That Inspire Awards in advance and specially introduced the award-winning situation of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University in the official news and at the ICAM conference site. Professor Gou Juanqiong's team had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the attending representatives at the speech site.
The AACSB Innovations That Inspire Awards is an initiative by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB, the world's largest business education alliance), aiming to recognize business schools worldwide that champion transformative innovation in education. In 2025, the focus of this award will be on institutions that innovate through partnerships, creating collaborative solutions that benefit communities and businesses, revising curricula in a timely manner, implementing new learning methods, and cultivating influential leaders. The AACSB 2025 ICAM Annual International Conference was attended by 1,500 business school deans, educators and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
