On September 21-23, 2023, sponsored by the Sino European Engineering Education Platform (SEEEP) and organized by Beijing Jiaotong University, the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University The 11th Workshop of Sino European Engineering Education Platform, organized by the International Center for Informatics Research (ICIR) of Beijing Jiao Tong University, was successfully held at Beijing Jiao Tong University. Representatives from 15 Chinese universities and 4 European universities from the Alliance and over 70 teachers and students from the Sino-European "Logistics, Information Technology, Management and Service Science" Sustainable Engineering PhD School participated in this seminar. Some universities in the Alliance also participated through online synchronization.

The seminar's opening ceremony was held at 14:00 pm on September 22nd at the Red Orchard Hotel of Beijing Jiaotong University. Professor Yu Zujun, President of Beijing Jiaotong University, delivered a welcoming speech. He stated that Beijing Jiaotong University is accelerating the construction of a world-class university with distinctive characteristics, continuously strengthening international cooperation and exchanges, and continuing to actively support the work of the China Europe Engineering Education Alliance. He sincerely wishes this session a complete success; Tian Lulu, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the National Scholarship Fund Management Committee of the Ministry of Education, delivered a speech, stating that she will continue to pay attention to the education cooperation issues of the China Europe Engineering Education Alliance, and is willing to continuously deepen the cooperation and exchange of international projects between Chinese and European universities, and wishes the seminar a smooth hosting; Professor Jos Vander Sloten, Secretary General of the Alliance's rotating presidency and Vice Dean of International Affairs at the School of Engineering and Sciences at the University of Leuven, delivered a speech, elaborating on the talent cultivation mechanism of universities in China and Europe, welcoming and opening up different projects such as academic research conducted by universities in China and Europe, and looking forward to the complete success of this seminar; Professor Yan Xuedong, Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University, presided over the opening ceremony.

Jiang Han, a representative of the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble in France and the University of Leuven in Belgium delivered a speech stating that Grenoble has a superior research environment in laboratory equipment, research organizations, and major enterprises. At the same time, it has multiple academic projects for international students and multiple academic and industrial partners in international cooperation. It Welcomes scholars from various countries to conduct academic exchanges and participate in the 2024 China Europe Engineering Education Seminar. Professor Liu Jinxuan, the representative of the Dalian University of Technology, delivered a speech in 2025, pointing out that the Dalian University of Technology is steadfast in implementing the strategy of opening up education to the outside world, continuously deepening the new pattern of international education, and actively exploring new models of international exchange and cooperation. He expressed that he has the responsibility and ability to undertake the work of hosting the 13th China Europe Engineering Education Seminar and is willing to promote sustained cooperation between Chinese and European universities—open international exchange and cooperation, as well as joint efforts to promote changes in world higher education.

The National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble in France and the University of Leuven in Belgium will jointly host the 12th China Europe Engineering Education Seminar in September 2024. Dalian University of Technology will host the 13th China Europe Engineering Education Seminar in September 2025.
