On July 30, 2023, the 8th China Europe Logistics, Information Technology, Management, and Service Science PhD Summer School (referred to as the "Summer School") continued in Shenzhen. All members of the Summer School participated in lectures, engaged in exchanges with corporate leaders, delved into research by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., and took part in activities selecting outstanding students.

1. Lectures and Exchanges by Enterprise Leaders

At 8:30 am, He Jinyou, the Chief Engineer of Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., shared insights into Huawei's corporate culture and digital transformation strategies based on the company's practical experiences. The essence of enterprise digital transformation lies in adopting the ROADS experience as a benchmark: real-time, on-demand, all online, DIY, and social. Following the presentation, Chief Engineer He Jinyou engaged in in-depth discussions with participating teachers and students on specific digital technology-related topics.

2. Research by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd

At 11 o'clock in the morning, all teachers and students of the summer school visited the terminal exhibition hall in the G area of Huawei's Sakata base, immersing themselves in the intelligent interactive experiences showcased by Huawei throughout the scene.

3. Selection of Excellent Students

At 2 pm, the selection of outstanding students from the summer school took place, featuring personal presentations and voting. Nine students, including Guo Jing, Tang Jialin, and Chen Hao, vied for the three awards of Best Learning, Best Innovation, and Best Speech. The students showcased their talents, highlighting their proficiency in research methods, innovative ideas, and personalized learning notes. Following an intense competition, Chen Hao secured the Best Learning Award, Wang Zhichao earned the Best Innovation Award, and Huang Lei was honored with the Best Speech Award.
