On the bustling day of March 10, 2023, a cohort of Master's degree students specializing in Accounting, Business Finance Integration, and Intelligent Finance, along with some sharp minds from the Accounting Department, embarked on a riveting journey led by the spirited Professor Yao Lijie, the maestro behind the MPAcc Center, and Professor Chen Jia from the Teaching Sharing Center. Their destination: China National Pharmaceutical Logistics Co., Ltd. The mission: a half-day odyssey of exchange and exploration. Alongside them were Minister Li Xinlei from the Finance and Capital Department of Sinopharm Corporation and Director Meng Xiangjun from the Finance Department of Sinopharm Logistics, adding seasoned insights to the vibrant mix.

China National Pharmaceutical Logistics, a powerhouse in pharmaceutical logistics services, unfolded its operations to the eager students. With a nationwide logistics network and a seasoned team, the company is on a mission to deliver efficient, safe, and top-notch logistics services to pharmaceutical production enterprises, medical institutions, and pharmaceutical distribution entities. The visit aimed to unravel the intricate dance of logistics operations and management models, providing students with a real-world glimpse and enhancing their practical application abilities.

Amidst the pharmaceutical logistics symphony, Manager Li Qingfeng set the stage, offering a detailed and vivid introduction to China National Pharmaceutical Corporation and Intelligent Logistics. The student and teacher delegation delved into the nuts and bolts, exploring the operational modes of logistics warehousing, distribution, and safety assurance. The visit unfolded like a captivating narrative, with Manager Liu Hengju of Sinopharm Logistics guiding the group through storage centers, distribution hubs, and the nerve center of logistics management.

At the warehouse center, students got a firsthand look at the meticulous processes of drug storage, including the intricate dance of acceptance, warehousing, outbound logistics, and inventory management. The distribution center brought a spectacle as the logistics delivery process unfolded before their eyes—the six-axis picking arm moved with unwavering precision, the OSR shuttle system navigated through the vast warehouse like a well-oiled machine, and picking robots performed a ballet of efficiency, showcasing the future of pharmaceutical logistics.

In the Logistics Management Center, the students were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the rapid dance of robots and automation equipment, orchestrating a seamless symphony of operations day and night. The visit provided a profound understanding of the information management system and logistics operation management mode, deepening the students' insights into the complex world of enterprise logistics operations.

The climax of the day unfolded during the discussion session, where Manager Zhao Qi of China National Pharmaceutical Logistics presented a customer value analysis report. Minister Li Xinlei then engaged in a lively on-site discussion with the students and faculty, addressing queries on optimal inventory, supply chain finance, and the integration of industry and finance. The heated discussion became a melting pot of practical and theoretical perspectives.

 

This hands-on journey drew unanimous praise from the students, who not only gained deeper insights into the logistics operation and management modes of enterprises but also marveled at the professionalism and efficiency of China National Pharmaceutical Logistics' intelligent robot logistics.
