Recently, Shandong Soft Science Outstanding Achievement Award Committee released the "Bulletin of 2013 Annual Outstanding Achievement Award of Shandong Province on Soft Science" which contained the list of winners of 2013 Outstanding Achievement Award of Shandong Province on Soft Science. With experts' review, public notice and appraisal of Shandong Soft Science Outstanding Achievement Award Committee, the research paper for "study on sustainable development and financial backing system for reform of resource-based cities" done by Professor Ye Shujun and his team of our school was awarded with the first prize for 2013 Outstanding Achievement of Shandong Province on Soft Science.
As the host of the topic, Professor Ye Shujun undertook the "study on sustainable development and financial backing system for reform of resource-based cities" -- one of the projects for scientific development of Shandong in 2011. The award-winning research paper is the result of research for that project. The research paper creatively built a differentiated financial backing system for transformation and sustainable development of cities strictly constrained by resources through model and data analysis, taking on significant guidance for transformation and sustainable development of resource-based cities.
Outstanding Achievement Award for Soft Science of Shandong was approved and set up by Science and Technology Department of Shandong under "State Regulations for Science and Technology Award". As a part of award system for science and technology in Shandong and the most authoritative one in soft science of Shangdong, this award is designed to commend major research findings in fields of economy, politics and social development, encourage innovative thinking of soft science researchers and provide better decision-making instruction and intellectual support for economic and social development of Shandong.
