On the afternoon of October 26, 2013, BJTU School of Economics and Management 2013 EMBA Degree-granting Ceremony was grandly held at 306 meeting room in East Siyuan Building. Yu Zujun, deputy president of Beijing Jiaotong University, Prof. Yuan Lunqu, counselor of the State Council, Guo Xuemeng, deputy president of Postgraduate School, Party secretary Zhang Mingyu and deputy president of Hao Shengyue of School of Economics and Management, graduates of 2013 EMBA Program and all working staff of EMBA Center and some of the relatives and friends of the graduates attended the graduation ceremony, which was presided over by Hao Shengyue.
Deputy president Yu Zujun expressed the best wishes to the EMBA graduates with the better performances and honors on behalf of the school in hopes that all schoolfellows could seek their respective career and also shoulder the social responsibility and try to do whatever they could to improve the current social environment. Also, he thanked the schoolfellows for their consistent support and assistance and hoped that they would cherish their valuable and youthful years back on campus and love the motherland and do credit to the school in their future pursuit of career and development.
Zhang Mingyu honorably presented a graduate ring to each graduate in token of the best wishes and great expectation from Alma Mater to the schoolfellows. Guo Xuemeng announced the name list of the degree winners on behalf of the school Degrees Committee; Hao Shengyue announced the name list of the prize winners. Yu Zujun and Yuanlunqu presented the trophies to 10 students who won the school and department excellent graduate paper award, 10 students for the Study Star Award, 7 students winning the management elite award, and also shared a group photo with each degree winner. Guo Xuemeng presented the award to Prof. Ye Shujun, the excellent EMBA instructor.
Ji Bingxu, deputy general manager of Luoyang LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd., affiliated to Henan Coal Chemical Industry Group Co.,Ltd. made an acknowledgment speech on behalf of the graduates and said that during the two years on BJTU campus students completed their systematic science pursuit and BJTUos decent conduct and academic pursuit attitude inspired the students for an aggressive pursuit of academic achievements. Later, Zhang Mingyu accepted the souvenir presented by 15th EMBA Program graduates on behalf of School of Economics and Management, which clearly depicted the main building of BJTU and the interior painted screen with names of 15th EMBA Program graduates.

In 2013, there were altogether 97 students with better academic performances and going through their degree paper oral defense, thus having obtained EMBA degree. According to the statistics, this yearos graduates come from the management of enterprises and government departments, 90% of whom has served as board chairmen, CEOs general managers of the enterprises and the government officials. They are widely distributed in terms of their industries, so it is strongly believed that they will play a more active role in promoting the economic construction and development of China.
