On the morning of February 18, 2014, Prof. Lin Hanchuan from University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) was kindly invited to deliver a lecture on how to apply for projects supported by National Social Science Foundation at Meeting Room 611 of School of Economics. Prof. Lin is a distinguished professor of UIBE, having successively presided over 11 national-level research projects, including major projects supported by National Social Science Foundation and key projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one important Social Science project supported by Ministry of Education. Prof. Lin has lectured on application for projects supported by National Social Science Foundation in many other colleges and universities, thus having the rich experience in this respect. Deputy Director Ye Long from Humanities and Social Sciences Department presided over the lecture.
Prof. Lin focused on three projects applied by two teachers from School of Economics and a teacher from CCISR and conducted the overall and in-depth analysis of the common problems and individual problems in the applications of the three applicants and offered detailed answers to many questions raised by the teachers present at the lecture. Some teachers and Ph.D candidates from School of Economics and School of Business Administration attended the lecture, many of whom remarked that they did benefit a lot from the lecture.
School of Economics is scheduled to promote 2015 Application for projects supported by National Social Science Foundation and the pre-assessment and encourages more teachers for the positive application in a bid to win more funded projects and continue to enhance the teacherso scientific research capabilities and proficien
