Teachers and Students from Department of Finance of National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (NKUAS) visit our school

On March 3, 2014, some teachers and students from Department of Finance of NKUAS visited our school. Dean Zhang Qiusheng and vice Dean Zhang Li from School of Economics and Management, Zhou Yaodong, Vice Dean of College of Economics and some other teachers and students from Department of Finance were present at the exchange and discussion with visiting guests.  

Zhang Qiusheng, Dean of School of Economics and Management, gave a warm welcome to the visiting teachers and students from Department of Finance of National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, remarking that our school has enjoyed the friendly cooperation with Department of Finance of NKUAS in the past few years, particularly including the teacher exchange and student exchange programs, thus having greatly deepened the exchange between the two schools, two universities and both sides across the straits. At the meeting, teachers and students from both sides exchanged ideas and discussed such hot topics as the cross-strait service trade agreement, RMB currency value, real estate price across the straits and the Internet finance, etc. 

On the afternoon of March 3 and on the morning of March 4, Ye Shujun and Liu Dehong, two teachers from Department of Finance, accompanied the visiting teachers and students to Baoshang Bank and China Development Bank Securities Co., Ltd. for a visit. Baoshang Bank has established the long-term closer cooperative partnership with our school, and this visit involved an in-depth exchange of ideas on the development of banking industry across straits.

This meeting is an academic and cultural exchange symposium attended by the teacher and student representatives from our school and also from Department of Finance of NKUAS. The mutual exchange among teachers and students from both sides facilitated them to have a better understanding and awareness of the cultivation directions of both universities and the financial sectors across the straits. This exchange activity has greatly enhanced the friendship among teachers and students from both sides and their professional awareness, thus blazing a new path for the future cooperation and communication between both universities.
