Leaders of our school visit China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. to explore for the School-Enterprise Cooperation Model
On the afternoon of March 8, 2014, Prof. Hao Shengyue, vice dean of School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, Director Fu Shaochuan and vice director Wang Xuefang of MSE Center of School of Economics and Management went to visit China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. in Taiyuan, sharing a discussion with the leaders from the relevant departments. Present at the discussion were leading office of the group, including, Chang Naichao, chief engineer, Tong Xifei, deputy chief engineer, director of Administrative Office, Duan Jianguo, board chairman and Party Secretary of No. 3 Company, Wang Xinjie, deputy chief engineering of the Group and director of Engineering Management Department, Zhang Junbing, deputy chief engineer of the group and director of Technical Development Department, Yan Nianxian, director of Human Resources Department, and Gu Jiyun, section chief of Human Resources and Labor Section, etc.
Yan Nianxian, director of Human Resources Department, first of all, presented a brief introduction of the basic situation about the 2nd Backbone Talent Training Class of No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. Dean Hao thanked No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. for its trust in School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, briefly introducing the history, disciplines, scientific and technical research level and the professional degree education of School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University. In view of this significant corporate inspection, the school leaders, on one hand, listened attentively to the comments and proposals from the leaders of No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. for the training class. On the other hand, it facilitated both sides to strengthen the communication and exchange between the school and the enterprise in hopes that the strong support from the enterprise and attention given by leaders at all levels would sure facilitate the MPM (Master of Project Management) Class in No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. to gain the higher academic level with remarkable features to explore for the in-depth Industry-Academy Cooperation Model.
Leaders of No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. spoke highly of the full-time study cultivation model as it caused great repercussions within No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., thus forming a brand effect and attracting more employees to sign up for the program. The leaders of the group company paid great attention to the cultivation model and conducted the optimal design of the curriculum system by combining the comments and proposals given by the relevant department leaders and comrades by adding some courses related to the finance, law and statistical analysis; secondly, it was highly hoped that the education of the sense of responsibility related to the studentso career devotion shall be emphasized during their study period so that they could know how to reciprocate the society after their academic pursuit, particularly No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd.; third, it is necessary to give priority to the contents related to the management, particularly the management approaches, ability and methods with emphasis to be laid upon the study of theories and the application of theory into practice with more attention paid to the cultivation of the studentso practical abilities in the document writing. After the meeting, Vice Dean Hao Shengyue presented the certificates to 8 enterprise mentors and part-time professors, particularly Chao Naichao, etc.
China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., which has established the closer relations with our school, has organized and conducted two training class in the MPM field. In the near future, efforts will be made to further promote the cooperation for the other high-end talent cultivation. So this inspection seminar has played a positive role in strongly promoting the bilateral communicative cooperation model, strengthening the exchange, expanding cooperation and enhancing the cultivation quality, etc.
