On the afternoon of March 28, 2013, 2012-2013 pYang Aifen Scholarshipq Award Ceremony was held in School of Economics and Management at Room 611 of East Siyuan Building.

 

 VIP guests invited to attend the ceremony are Prof. Yang Aifen from Accounting Department of School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, Mr. Shi Wenshan, deputy general manager and chief engineer of Beijing Zhonglihong Professional Service Group, Yin Ji, director of External Liaison Cooperation Department of our school and secretary general of Education Foundation, Yao Nianlong, director of Student Work Department, Sheng Lihui, associate dean of Graduate School, Xu Jingsong, deputy director of External Liaison Cooperation Department of our school and deputy secretary general of Education Foundation, Yan Changli, part-time vice minister of Graduate Work Office, Wen Yingchun, deputy party secretary of School of Economics and Management, Cui Yongmei, deputy party secretary and associate dean of School of Economics and Management, Song Guangsen, director of Graduate Department of School of Economics and Management and Li Jingli, Secretary of CYL Committee of School of Economics and Management. The ceremony was presided over by Song Guangsen.

 

 First of all, Director Yin Ji gave a speech and expressed the heart-felt gratitude to Prof. Yang Aifen and leaders from Beijing Zhonglihong Professional Service Group and also gave the warmest congratulations to the scholarship recipients. At the same time, he emphasized that it was important to enhance the alumni awareness to the on-campus students and hoped that student present at the ceremony should benefit from the activity and disseminate their understanding to other students so as to establish the service awareness, undertake the social responsibility and strongly carry forward the philosophy of pThanksgiving to Pathfinders, Loving the Motherland and Winning Honors for Schoolq.

 

Then, Prof. Yang Aifen expressed the congratulation to the recipients, highly praising them for their excellent performances in study, moral cultivation, social work and scientific research, etc, in hopes that they could continue to make greater efforts and start from scratch and discipline themselves with higher standards to make better achievements to reciprocate the school and the society.

 

Later, Mr. Shi Wenshan from Beijing Zhonglihong Professional Service Group made a speech. He briefly introduced the development process and the achievements of Beijing Zhonglihong Professional Service Group, interpreting the initial proposal for establishing pYang Aifen Scholarshipq to help more students and reciprocate the society in hopes that students could keep in mind the school motto pKnowing and Doingq, carefully study for better academic performances, conscientiously cultivate their own willpower and moral quality so as to develop themselves into the talents useful to the country and the society.

 

At last, leaders from Zhonglihong Professional Service Group, BJTU and School of Economics and Management presented the certificates and scholarship amounts to five winning students, including the doctorate candidates, masters and undergraduates. The student representative Zheng Lidong gave a speech and expressed the heart-felt gratitude to Prof. Yang Aifen, leaders from Zhonglihong Professional Service Group, BJTU and School of Economics and Management and made the solemn commitment on behalf of the scholarship recipients: pWe will live up to the expectations from the alumni and seniors and their sincere hope for setting up this scholarship and we will take the attitude of gratitude in a bid to develop ourselves into the inter-disciplinary talents excellent in character and learning and with morality and political integrity to reciprocate the school and the society with the extraordinary performances.
