On the afternoon of April 15, 2014, a group of 11 leaders, particularly Director Wang Xiangwu from Beijing Planning Office of philosophy and Social Science and Deputy Director Ye Maolin from Beijing Municipal Education Commission conducted the acceptance of Engineering Project ( Phase I)--Beijing Research Base for Philosophy and Social Science—CCISR. Sun Shouguan, Vice Headmaster of BJTU, director Bi Ying and deputy director Ye Long from Humanities and Social Sciences Office, Dean Zhang Qiusheng and associate dean Shi Xianliang from Economics and Management School, chief professors and responsible persons of the research base, some teachers and postgraduates attended this acceptance meeting.

The base acceptance meeting was presided over by vide director Zhang Qingxi from Beijing Planning Office of philosophy and Social Science. Sun Shouguan, Vice Headmaster of BJTU gave the warm welcome on behalf of the University to all leaders and experts and also gave the heartfelt wish that all leaders and experts could offer the valuable comments and proposals to the development of our schoolos Beijing Research Base for Philosophy and Social Science—CCISR.

Li Wenxing, chief professor of the research Base, first of all, introduce the basic condition about the research base to the acceptance group experts. Prof. Bo Wei, major responsible person presented a detailed report about the base in recent three years, particularly involving five aspects, respectively the subject study, adopted research results, force and platform construction, etc., and also put forward the future development path of the base.

After the experts listened attentively to the relevant reports, they conducted the extensive and profound exchange and consulted and reviewed the base construction results. The experts present at the meeting fully confirmed the based construction of the recent threes and gave the precious comments and proposals for the next phase construction. 

Deputy Director Ye Maolin from Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Director Wang Xiangwu from Beijing Planning Office of philosophy and Social Science spoke highly of the base work and performances and also gave their respective hopes for the work in the next stage: Firstly, strengthen the cooperation with other institutions in different places to create the open platform for the research of CCISR; secondly, further streamline the research orientations and highlight the regional features in Beijing and BJTU advantages; Thirdly, enhance the practical base research achievements and bring the base pthink tankq role into full play. At last, Dean Zhang Qiusheng and Director Bi Ying respectively summarized the base acceptance work, remarking that more support would be given to the base to promote the baseos smooth development in the coming years.
