On May 13, the student delegation from Texas Southern University, composed of 16 members led by Executive Director Dr. Ron Brown, visited our school. Lu Xiyan, director of our school International Exchange Center gave the warm welcome to the visiting guests and discussed with Dr. Brownt he exchange programs between the two schools. Associate professor Chen Xiuping of our school gave the student delegation a lecture on the Chinese Art of War and Management, conducting the deep exchange with the student delegation from Texas Southern University.

Texas Southern University is a four-star university in the USA as well as one of the most famous state research universities of the ethnic minorities in the American history, located in Houston City, Texas. The school was founded in 1927 and now has approximately 9700 postgraduates and undergraduates who are educated and served by about 1400 professors and other faculties and staff. The university has a series of undergraduate, master and Ph.D specialties and more than 80 student organizations. Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Jesse H. Jones School of Business, College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and College of Science & Technology, etc., enjoy the higher reputation in the USA. In 2012 Texas Southern University signed the agreement with our school for the Confucius Institute cooperation.
