A professor from I-Shou University (ISU) came to visit our school

During May 13-19, Yao-Ling Liu, associate professor from College of Tourism and Hospitality, I-Shou University (ISU) paid a visit to our school at our invitation, during which Prof. Liu presented series of lectures to undergraduates and postgraduates of our school on the overview of tourism festivals, tourism education development trend and tourism development in Taiwan, having won the warm welcome from teachers and students of our school. During her stay at our school, Prof. Liu inspected and studied the basic situations of Beijingos tourism development and conducted the extensive exchange with the teachers and students in our school.

Prof. Yao-Ling Liu served as the dean of Tourism and Hospitality Department of ISU with her research fields widely involving Hospitality Management, Menu Design and Cost Control, Dietary Design and Management, Hospitality Safety and Health Regulations, Kitchen Planning and Management, Restaurant Planning and Business Startup, Purchase Practice, Fast Food Industry Management, B&B Management and Operation, Restaurant Business Preparation and Planning, Catering Nutrition and Catering Culture, etc. Prof. Liu has brought up a lot of first-class hospitality management talents by efficiently combining her professional background and abundant practical experience.

ISU was originally founded in 1986 as Kaohsiung Polytechnic Institute by Mr. I-shou Lin, Chairman of the E United Group. The university has 8 colleges, respectively College of Electrical and Information Engineering, College of Science and Engineering, College of Management, College of Language Arts, College of Medicines, College of Communication and Design, College of Tourism and Hospitality and International College as an international comprehensive university highlighting the practical application and the unity of theory and practice. Our school has conducted the exchange and cooperation with ISU, particularly promoting the mutual student exchange programs on a regular basis.
