Urban Rail System EMBA Program Shenzhen Mobile Classroomfully understanding Rail Transit Plan from the expert lectures and site class teaching

On May 22-25, 2014, the first mobile classroom for Chinese Urban Rail Transit EMBA Program of BJTU was conducted respectively in Shenzhen Metro and Hong Kong Metro. Xu Shuangniu, Chief Engineer of China Railway Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., Guo Jifu from BJTU Transportation Research Center, Zhao Penglin, deputy general commander of Shenzhen City Metro Construction Command Office, board chairman Lin Maode and deputy general manager Jian Lian of Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd., and Xiao Shixiong, general manager of Operation Branch of Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. presented a series of lectures entitled pUrban Rail Transit Planning and Comprehensive Operationq to students of the first class of Chinese Urban Rail Transit EMBA Program of BJTU. The experts also talked about the rail transit planning and the strategic plans for the sustainable development of the rail transit enterprises by guiding and leading the students from pUrban Comprehensive Rail Transit Planningq to pUrban Rail Transit Traffic Planningq and then from pShenzhen Metro Dominating Innovation Equipment Planningq and pSustainable Development Modelsq. Students were also arranged to listen to the lectures given by Chen Juntai, general manager of Hong Kong Metro Training Department, and Zheng Shusen, consultant of Hong Kong Metro Training Department and the students also conducted the site study of the latest and advanced Hong Kong Metro highly featuring the modern world technical planning and design, the advanced operation management and the excellent operation performances. 
 
Mobile classroom is one of the elite teaching models vigorously created by our school for EMBA Program. The courses are closely related to the cutting-edge issues of the economic development and business administration with the full and fresh course contents, flexible and diversified learning models, and the teaching sites are elaborately identified in areas and enterprises representative of the faster corporate development in China, thus having gained the brilliant achievements in effectively combining the theory with practice. This mobile classroom activities focused on the theme pUrban Rail Transit Traffic Planningq and the course design is fully involved with the three levels, respectively the theory, case study and tools for the top-down and consistent implementation of the teaching goals so as to facilitate the students to learn the most forward-looking systematic knowledge and the most practical analytical tools. The courses are conducted in the interactive models aiming at building an interactive and mutual-sharing learning community.
