At 2:10 p.m. on June 9, 2014, Dr. Feng Zhigang lectured on "How to publish your paper" to teachers and students of Economics College. Dr. Feng Zhigang is a teacher from Department of Economics University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign by taking his forthcoming paper entitled "Time-Consistent Optimal Fiscal Policy over the Business Cycle" as a typical case to deliver a wonderful lecture focusing on the research methods, particularly involving the presentation of the research question, theory model, Quantitative Analysis and result analysis, etc. The lecture was presided over by Prof. Bo Wei. After the lecture, Prof. Bo Wei introduced the situations about the cultivation of Ph.D candidates and postgraduates of Applied Economics in Economics College. Dr. Feng Zhigang also introduced the Advanced Macroeconomics and Thematic courses given by him to Ph.D candidates at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Both sides expressed the strong desires to strengthen the communication and cooperation.
