At 3:00 p.m. June 12, 2014, the lecture entitled pSino-US Relations and Writing of SSCI Papersq given by Prof. Zhao Suisheng to teachers and students at 611 of Siyuan Building. Prof. Zhao is currently a tenured professor of University of Denver, Josef Korbel School of International Studies and concurrently Executive Director, Center for China-U.S. Cooperation, a member of the Board of Governors of the US Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific, a Research Associate at Harvard University Fairbanks Center for East Asian Research, a member of National Committee on US-China Relations and a founding editor of the English Journal of pContemporary Chinaq (a SSCI Bimonthly) and also adjunct professor of Peking University, Renmin University of China, University of International Relations, Shanghai Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU). He also worked as the national researcher of The Hoover institution of Stanford University, associate professor of Washington Academy Politics Department, assistant professor and associate professor of Kirby Institute Government Department.
The lecture is presided over by Prof. Ye Shujun. Prof. Zhao Suisheng presented a wonderful lecture about Sino-US Relations and then introduced the features of Contemporary Chinaq, of which he is the founding editor, and the instructions about the contribution. Prof. Zhaoos lecture is cordially welcomed by the teachers and students who expressed their feelings about the lecture as it broadens their horizons and benefits them not a little.
