On the afternoon of June 17th 2014, members of ACE, Doctor Smelik, Subdecanal of Leeds University Business School (Britain), and Doctor Zhang Ying, Subdecanal of Rotterdam School of Management (Holland) visited our School. Mr. Zhang Li, Subdecanal of our school, had an informal meeting with the visitors. They exchanged ideas about carrying out inter-school undergraduate exchange programs, joint graduate cultivation and scientific research cooperation in the future, and reached consensus about cooperation.
Later, Doctor Zhang Ying gave a special speech about pCollege Studentos Innovation and Starting Businessq for some teachers and students of our school and university. Doctor Zhang Ying gave a detailed and wonderful interpretation of the problems in college studentso innovation and starting business. The undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students present had heated discussions about how to turn their ideas of starting business into reality, and some of the problems of reality in starting business at present. Doctor Zhang Ying gave his opinions and guidance about the questions raised by the students. Doctor Smelik also gave pertinent opinions about the matters need attention for current college students in choosing careers, and systematically explained the relations between ability, interest, and market demand.
Initiated by EFMD, ACE is made up of 10 first-rate business school from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, 10 famous business schools from Europe, and other founding members. ACE is an association of top business schools, aiming at providing member schools with a platform for sharing teaching resources, teacherso research cooperation, studentso two-way exchange, and joint project development. Our school is one of the founding members of ACE.
