During the tour study period, Mr. Lu Haijun from School of Economics and Management gave the special lecture to the students from CSULB to deepen the American studentso understanding of China. In the process of their tour study, the students of the CSULB Delegation visited Beijing   Hyundai  Motor No. 2 Plant. Through the field visit and experience, they had the further understanding of the localization process of the international enterprises.

 

It is worth mentioning that on June 10, the teachers and students from the CSULB Delegation had a spectacular get-together with their counterparts from College of Economics of School of Economics and Management at RM. 302 of East Siyuan Building. Present at the get-together were Prof. Robert Chi from CSULB, director Lu Xiyang from International Exchange Center of School of Economics and Management and Teacher Ao from the School Modern Chinese Orchestra, which performed many classic music pieces with the Chinese traditional musical instruments, such as, "Horse Racing", "Great Jubilance" and "Scarborough Fair", etc. The Chinese and Western combined performances won the rapturous applause from the audience. Members of CSULB Delegation also presented an opera, which brought the house down with the excellent performance. The entire get-together alternated between the performance of the Chinese students and the American students against the cheerful atmosphere, having greatly promoted the mutual friendship and deepened the mutual understanding, so the get-together turned out to be a great success.
