Prof. Zhou Chen simply and accessibly analyzed the features of the US supply chains from the point of view of transportation, warehousing, information and labor force, etc., and pointed out the advantages and limitations of the current US supply chains by conducting the detailed comparison of the corresponding links in the Chinese supply chains. The economic management models for the supply chains in both countries, even the similarities and differences of the corporate cultures, aroused the warm interactive communication and discussion among the students. With the meticulous interpretation of Prof. Zhou Chen, the students got a greater appreciation and understanding of such concepts as Automation and mechanization. Prof. Zhou Chen pointed out, our modern society is indeed full of opportunities and challenges, so only when we are able to fully command the features of things and the major contradictions and gain an insight into the favorable information can we cope with problems with flexible strategy and achieve twice the result with half the effort in doing whatever things in any time any place.
