Summer Joint Program co-sponsored by Georgia Institute of Technology, National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University and Beijing Jiaotong University was satisfactorily concluded on August 1, 2014.
 
During the period of 6 weeks, Prof. Hackman from Georgia Institute of Technology, Prof. Poh and Prof. Tan from National University of Singapore, Prof. Gao and Prof. Rao from Tsinghua University respectively offered 80-odd students different courses, involving Capital Investment Analysis, Decision Analysis, Ergonomics and Work Organization.
 
The school arranged the course tgeachers and students for an inspection tour at Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. (BHMC) and for the preliminary study of Tai Chi Lessons.
 
During the program period, Dean Zhang Qiusheng and Associate Dean Zhang Li exchanged ideas with course teachers and students and had the lively discussions on topics of common interest, believing that School of Beijing Jiaotong University would have the more extensive and closer cooperation with Georgia Institute of Technology and National University of Singapore in the near future.
 
On July 31, the students from the abovementioned four universities had the program closing ceremony. They increased the mutual friendship and deepened the understanding of the Chinese culture and the special culture of School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University through the six-week study. It is expected that the summer joint program will be the routinized program of our school. It is strongly believed that all teachers and students have an unforgettable stay and the summer study experience of a lifetime at our school!
