On the afternoon of October 16, 2019, a group of 21 full-time Master of Engineering Management, Grade 2018, School of Economics and Management, Beijing Jiaotong University, led by Guo Xiejuan, a teacher from the Department of Engineering Management, visited the demonstration building of near-zero energy consumption and energy conservation at the China Academy of Architectural Sciences.

The project is an important research carrier for the second phase of the Sino-US Clean Energy Joint Research Center project. The certification targets are 3-star of green building evaluation and platinum grade of LEED-NC. It takes the advanced building energy technology as the main line, takes the actual data as the evaluation, and focuses on the passive building design and construction, advanced building energy system, renewable energy application and intelligent control of ultra-low energy consumption buildings. It displayed the integration of the world's cutting-edge building energy conservation and green building technology.
The Institute of Building Environment and Energy Saving of the Chinese Academy of Architectural Sciences did a detailed and thoughtful reception for the visit. The commentator led the teachers and students to visit the STP vacuum insulation board external insulation system of the near-zero energy consumption demonstration building, Low-e vacuum three-layer glass outer window + central sunshade, solar medium and high temperature vacuum tube heat collection and high temperature trough heat collection, solar air conditioning heating optimization design and control, solar energy and ground source heat pump compound energy supply system, cold storage heat storage system, solar photovoltaic power generation system, PM2.5 monitoring and control. Pay attention to ICT technology and user experience of intelligent building technology, low energy consumption building air conditioning system debugging, natural lighting utilization (light conduit) and many other demonstration technology system. A patient and detailed explanation was given to the teachers and students of our college.

During this visiting, students have a deeper understanding of how to combine zero energy consumption, energy saving, environmental protection, green and other concepts with the application of theoretical knowledge, which would help students to find a new perspective on the development of green energy-saving buildings and promote students' new thinking and prospects for green energy-saving buildings.
