Four professors of Rochester Institute of Technology, U.S. visited our school and gave lectures

From May 25-31, four professors of Saunders Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology U.S. visited our school, gave lessons for undergraduate and graduate students and communicated with teachers and students of our school. The four professors were Prof. Tu Qiang of Department of Information System, Associate Prof. Tang Zhi of Department of International Trade, Associate Prof. Shalkhazanchi of Department of Management and Associate Prof. Yang Rong of Department of Accounting.

Tu Qiang, professor of Department of Information System of Saunders Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology. He went to University of Toledo in State of Oklahoma U.S. for further education in 1994 and received Ph. D degree there. He is now Vice President of Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology, professor of management information system. Prof. Tu has been engaged for a long time in research of information system strategy, enterprise resource plan system, information system outsourcing and behavioral analysis of technical management and information system management. He has published papers in many internationally famous academic journals, such as Information Systems Research, Decision Sciences, etc. On this visit, he gave lessons to undergraduate and graduate students of our school in information resource integration, management information system and data structure.

Tang Zhi, associate professor of Department of International Trade of Saunders Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology. He graduated as a Management Ph. D from University of Alabama, with major research directions of environmental uncertainty analysis, entrepreneurship orientation and organization complexity, entrepreneurship strategy of emerging economy and transforming economy. On this visit he gave lessons to undergraduate and graduate students of our school in international business and international trade.

ShalKhazanchi, associate professor of Department of International Trade of Saunders Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a member of U. S. Management Society. She graduated as an Organization Behavior Ph. D from University of Cincinnati. Her major research directions are organization entirety and innovation. She has published papers on many journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Operations Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior, etc. On this visit she gave lessons to undergraduate and graduate students of our school in human resource management of multinational enterprise and enterprise organization theory.

Yang Rong, associate professor of Department of Accounting of Saunders Business School of Rochester Institute of Technology. He received his accounting Ph. D degree from New Jersey State University. His major research directions are capital market application, internal controlling quality and enterprise reorganization. He has published papers on many journals, such as A Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, etc. On this visit he gave lessons to undergraduate and graduate students of our school in financial management basis, enterprise finance, financial management and intermediate accounting.

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is a private university, located in Rochester in northern part of U.S. State of New York. In the newest 2014 U.S. News ranking, RIT is in the seventh place among Northern U.S. universities. Saunders Business School received certification of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Saunders Business School cooperated with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator of RIT and Albert J. Simone Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to incorporated innovative projects of business education resource and RIT world’s leading technology, providing qualified education platform for students. According to agreement between our university and Rochester Institute of Technology, our school and RIT will send students and teachers to each other for promoting communication of academy and culture of the two universities.
