Personal Biography

Ke-hu Tan is a professor and Head of Department of Economics in School of Economics and Management. He teaches in the areas of economics and the New institutional economics. He has written more than 30 articles that have appeared in such journals as Productivity research, Railway Economics Research, Comprehensive Transportation ,Journal of Economic Problems ,Journal of Systems & Management ,Journal of Shanxi University, Research on Development, China National Conditions & Strength, Economic Perspectives ,Contemporary Finance & Economics and Journal of Beijing Jiaotong University. In addition, he has published two books : Regulatory policy on Joint-venture railways(published by China Railway Publishing House in 2007) ,An inquiry into the Railway Regulation in the United States(published by Economic Science Press In 2008)
Dr. Tan taught 13 years at Beijing Jiaotong University. He served as assistant director in Center for Infrastructure Research and Beijing Transportation Development Base , Beijing Jiaotong University.
In 2003, He visited Business School of Duquesne University in the United States as a visiting scholar, and Hehave been there for three months.
