Department of Tourism Management

The Department aims to cultivate advanced talents in tourism management, who can meet the requirements of the tourism industry's development, and who are equipped with good professional qualities, a high level of moral and cultural accomplishment, a solid basis of management theory, a high level of English proficiency and outstanding computer skills, and who should acquire a comparatively strong operational ability in the traveling management, developing and planning. The Department, with its well-structured faculty, has several education programs designed for undergraduates, and postgraduates majoring in tourism management. Main research areas in the Department include tourism economics and development strategy, tourism planning, scenic byway, and eco-tourism. There are two curriculum groups with eight faculty members including three full professors and one associate professor.
