Department of Labor Economics

The Department of Labor Economics aims to cultivate high-level specialized talents with solid economic theories and strong abilities in comprehensively analyzing and solving practical issues, who systematically grasp theories of economics, labor economics and public management and are equipped with the ability to conduct economic analysis, policy research, consulting service, teaching and researching in comprehensive economic management division, government research division, a variety of enterprises and public institutions as well as financial institutions. The department currently has set up master¡¯s degree for labor economics and public management including educational economy and management and social security. Main research areas cover Theories and Policies of Labor Economics, Theories and Practices of Social Security, Development and Management of Human Resource, Social Insurance, Social Welfare and Assistance, Public Administration, Educational Economy and Management and Social Medicine and Health Management.
